The result thus far is no surprise to me, although a few individuals were sort of disappointing.

It looks like one of your votes are invalid, as well. (Specifically: Mint's)
what is wrong with mint's?

I think the greater surprise is the utter lack of party discipline on all sides. Between that and the turnout, should make for an interesting June elections.

Voting booth rules state to be an eligible voter you have to registered on or before the 26th. Mint registered on the 28th.

That's odd. Atlasian law states that you need only have registered at least a week before the scheduled opening of the voting booth. That would allow Mint to vote.

I was under the impression it was 10 days.

Nobody wiki'd this amendment, but I am certain it passed. I'm looking for the tracker thread to determine that for a fact.

     EDIT: The tracker thread.

I can't believe no one bothered to wiki that, no wonder there's been such confusion over the restrictions on voting. Huh

The last amendment wiki'd was over a year ago. The amendment to eliminate the budget has also not been wiki'd & that was passed last July.

Marokai is leading 31-16 in a two-candidate race against Duke.

It's virtually impossible for him to lose anymore with the number of votes that have already been cast.

Everyone, there's plenty of time left, and I most definitely am not declaring any sort of victory until the polls are closed!

Reminds me of election night in November when Obama obviously was going to win with only likely Dem EVs left on the board, but he didn't have the 270 yet so people were doing the fake "it's still anybody's race" thing.

"With California, Oregon, Alaska and Washington not yet closed, anybody can take it. Except for John McCain."

I'd like to point out that we have 51 voters so far. The last special election drew 49 voters.

Put another way, after only a day of voting, the turnout is 73% of total turnout in the April Senate election.

Duke seems to be gaining a little, maybe he still has a shot.
