Marokai is leading 31-16 in a two-candidate race against Duke.

It's virtually impossible for him to lose anymore with the number of votes that have already been cast.

Yeah, I'm trying to keep the morale high over here. Tongue

     WE CAN STILL WIN THIS!

YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, voting twice is against the law.

It is, but I think we should PM him and ask why he voted twice.

Does it matter? He still voted twice.

Edit: I mean, yeah, I guess finding out why he did it would be nice, but is vote is still invalid regardless, the law being the law.

What if Dan is right and his vote disappeared and so re voted. Then his first one appeared again. I think you should give him the benefit of doubt on this. If its the same thing that happened to Bacon King and Andy, since they are allowed to revote, what happens if there votes reappear. Strange things are happening in this voting booth.

Well, if Gustaf vote does not count, then why does Bacon Kings count? He has two voting post in the voting booth?

Because other people witnessed what happened to BK. The post did not show up. Earl said peoples whose post disappear will be allowed to revote. Then in this instance with Gustaf he intends to follow the letter of the law. It would make sense that is what happened to Gustaf and that is why he reposted it within 1 minute. I usually read over my posts to make sure there are no obvious errors both before and after I post them, in Gustaf's position I could see myself doing the same thing and thats what scares me about this damn thing. How do we know this won't happen on Friday? And if it does how the hell am I suppose to get somebody to notice it missing?  Not everyone checks over things as caustiously as I do. I was actually probably the first one to notice BK's missing vote. This might be something we should look at addressing in the Senate. If PiT's elected then we most likely will take a look at the SoFA's office as well anyway.

What makes this even more difficult is it could effect the outcome of not one but two races.

Oy, I feel no matter what my decision, someone will be unhappy. Those who are opposed to Gustaf's vote however, are noticeably absent from this discussion. I, understand though.

Shouldn't the Absentee vote  be ended and the regular election have been started by now?

Cool your jets, it opens in 15 minutes.

Sorry it's just that I high have* every intention of voting before I see the morning sunshine.

*For those of you who are not familiar with me the idea that I use drugs or even the mere suggestion I find very insulting.

I meant "have" of course. Its because I am tired staying up waiting for you. Wink By the way I take the insinuation that I use drugs as an insult.

It seems like I have fallen victim to the vote-eating booth. My vote for Lief & Max disappeared from the Absentee booth. You can still see it if you view my posts from my profile:

Well you shouldn't have voted in that booth anyway. Tongue

Rocky's vote definitely is invalid. If you look on the most recent page of his posts it goes all the way back to March.

Your right he only has 10 posts in May and June together.

Kyle just invalidated his vote by voting in both booths...

President

[ X ] Senator PiT [PiT (The Physicist)]/Senator HappyWarrior [hannibal]
Regional Protection Party/Democratic Alliance

Mideast Senator

[ 1 ] KyleGordon2016
[ 2 ] Persepolis

Perhaps he has a reason. Gustaf also voted twice, but his vote will still count.

The only reason Gustaf has a "potential" reason is the vote perhaps disappearing. Kyle's vote did not disappear. That damn kid!!!! Angry

LOL

I totally forgot about voting, then remembered and wanted to put it off for awhile and then totally forgot about it. So, what happened?

Drama(tm).

Both of you were potential voters that never got around to voting, but could have swung the elections. Amusing.

That's what happens when people put off voting for dramatic effect Wink

Thats why I voted on Friday as soon as the booth opened.

It's certainly a risk Wink  I blame The Sims 3.

Though I never did get an answer about whether a vote for Fritz would've brought about a runoff.

A vote for Lief may have!

Oh dear, I'm going to have to make some tough decisions.

I will say this, the one job that I never want to hold in Atlasia is SoFA. Smiley

I think you got Calvin & Hobbes color wrong
I concur that I do not believe he ever joined the RPP, I believe he is a member of the JCP

According to the DoFA, he was an RPP member as of 23 June last.

Yes but he recently tried to change regions and at the same time switched to the JCP. Even if he is prevented from moving, the party change would have gone through no matter what. So Catmusic is in the JCP.

So I'm the only one of the two major parties who broke ranks? That's kinda sad.

Well be proud of your political independence Smiley

The Midwest and Northeast were faily good for DWTL as well. Both within 10 points. The only lanslide Region for Fritz was in the Pacific. While DWTL had 2 and the race was competative in 2 more. Not a bad showing at all.

There is no Democratic or Republican Party in Atlasia anymore, and if you're not aware, then you shouldn't be Senator.

I can only clap my hands to that comment.

I believe that the honerable gentleman was referring to the real-life party affiliations of the members of the Assembly, not that he was insinuating that those two parties still exist in Atlasia.

The Democratic Party actually was recently reborn in Atlasia. Both KyleGordon and myself are among the members, and at least one of us will be elected to the Mideast assembly tomorrow.

Three members isn't really what I would call an impressive rebirth.
Hey, who said anything about impressive? I'm just correcting the statement that we don't exist at all. Besides, the way parties and registrations come and go around here, having lasted over a full month makes us practically venerable. ;-)

And hey, it's three more than the Atlasian Republican Party has. :-P

Actually its only two more. I think Winfield is still a Republican. If he is, he is like a relic of a by gone era, almost museum worthy, you might say.
