Tusk is, as filiatre says, probably Poland's greatest leader in the last decade. Not only that, he is the best potential leader of the last decade too. But I guess he's considered a right-winger by the hacks (like Merkel, apparently. dear god.)

Tusk was the only one able to get rid of the Kaczynskis (in fact, one of them, at least, the most powerful).
