I found my old CD that I burned from my brother of their first album just now.

That band had probably the quickest turnaround in being hated by scene kids as mainstream garbage to being beloved (because it's ironic), like approximately 3-6 months. They didn't last very long though.

This is a terrible band. Only Good Charlotte was worse than them.

I can't remember the name of their first song, but I found it annoying. But they had another song come out that I thought was decent.

Eh, never was a fan.  I do remember liking "Fat Lip" when it first came out.  Then again, I was also 14.

I confuse them with all the other pop-punk bands that blew up around then.  I'm not a fan but it's a million times better than bubble gum pop/dance music.  If you're (mostly) writing your own songs and can bash your instruments sort of in time with each other then you're already ahead of any artist that puts the visual over the music.  I'm talking to you KISS, Britney Spears and 50 cents.

(it's also better than whatever the hell the post-Creed "modern rock" genre has turned into...there seems to be more suck on the radio every year...GET OFF MY LAWN!)
