Newt!

He's one of the few hard-right Republicans who can respectably, save the Sotomayor incident, articulate 21st century conservative ideas. Unlike most hard-right politicians, he's moved beyond the policies of Reagan. Being a known intellectual and history professor don't hurt him either. I was very young when he was Speaker, but lately I've been really impressed with him.

Newt has impressed me as well. I have been following him since 2005, back then I didn't know who he even was, more less in the 90's. Its a shame he tends to get in icky media situations that tend to be counter-productive and his scandals from the 90's keep him from being president. Sonny Bono once told Newt that he should have handlers to keep him out of ugly situations like the back of the plane comment that ruined us on the budget battle in 95.
