Question seconded Tongue

I haven't looked this up but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is yet another attempt to make the legislative branch all-powerful over the executive.

This removes the undefined position of GM from the Constitution, allowing us to subsequently create the position correctly through statute and give it a real definition, a purpose, responsibilities, etc. As it stands now, the inclusion of the GM in the Constitution is confusing and unclear. This will better facilitate the hashing out of possibly the most important single position in the game.

Oh, and please see the follow-up legislation that adds the GM into the Constitution by statute into Article VIII. I think that is where the position belongs in the Constitution.

Aye

If I could make a quick appeal to my fellow Senators, no where in the Constitution is the position of GM clarified, explained or created. The presence of this single line serves to cause confusion over the position and so I would favor its removal and replacement by the GM legislation on the floor to insert the office into Article VIII by means of statute.

This is not a power-grab or I would not have presented the other statutory amendment. Please vote Aye for the sake of clarity.
