No. Just no f***ing way. Doesn't the government have enough unconstitutional powers already?
I don't think this was referring to any type of government action...all leagues other than MLB already have self-induced salary caps.


Anyhow, I "lean no."  They create artifical, boring parity, especially in the NHL.

I would support a small amount of profit sharing to give the small market teams a chance, but the profit sharing should be only based on the size of the market and not the profitability of the team.
