Did BRTD hack your account? Tongue

Who I wouldn't want as a neighbor:

-Drug addicts (they can be dangerous)
- Drunk people (same as above)
- Right wing extremists (same as above)
- Nazi guards (I don't like old people)
- Criminals
- Guantanamo inmates
- People with HIV/AIDS (I don't mean to sound like an a-hole but I would have been a little afraid of living next door to someone with AIDS)
- People with children (too much noise, I can't stand children)

-Right Wing Extremists
-Nazi Guards
-Guantanamo Inmates

That is all I put. I guess I would add drunk people, criminals and maybe drug addicts.

I chose Left and Right wing extremists, members of Congress, and the President.

Left wing extremists because they're so politically active to the point of extreme annoyance. The Left extremist would be out on their front lawn every morning bitching about how much air my Ford Focus kills just backing out of the drive way. But then again, I lived with some hippie far left people in college (hell I even slept with one), so I guess this point is kind of moot. They're really sexy, even if they don't take showers.

I live in OK, believe me Right wing extremists aren't fun to be around every single day. I know quite a few of them and if I lived next to them, I would shot myself in the foot. They're not as politcally outspoken or annoying as lefties, but they're so f$#king closed minded that it makes them harder to ignore. I get sick and tired of my parents saying I should get a hair cut or wear looser jeans just because their super loony friends think I'm a drug addict. I can live next to alot of people, hell I can live with alot of people, but I can't live near somebody that's that closedminded about everything.

Members of Congress, I wouldn't want to live next to them more for their sake than mine. If I saw them in some sort of illicit act and they're supposedly of high moral caliber, I will unleash hell to the media about it and their ass will be voted out quicker than you can say "stuffed french toast at IHOP". Plus, when there is a protest at their house, it would be hell backing out or getting back into my driveway.

The President: First off, how can I live next to the president? He's in the White House! Second, the media storm waiting outside the White House 24/7 would be pretty annoying. So would (like the members of Congress) the protests. Also, there is the Secret Service to consider: would I be frisked every single time I went home?

That's just my take.

I only put right wing extremists and people with mental problems. Everyone else I could see myself tolerating, depending on how messed up they are of course.

-Drug addicts (Dangerous and cause trouble)
-Regular drunk persons (They'll probably be loud, but if they aren't and don't cause damage I wouldn't mind)
-Right-Wing Extremists (By nature prone to violence)
-Left-Wing Extremists (Same as above)
-Former Nazi guards @ a concentration camp (I know not all guards did cruel things, but most of them did. I wouldn't want to live next to someone who inflicted so much pain to the innocent)
-Criminals (Will break the law, duh. Tongue )
-Persons with mental problems (Can be dangerous and unstable)
-Guantanamo inmates (People would probably be looking for them)
-Well-off CEO's of a big company laying off workers (He screws up his company and instead of doing away with his extravagances, makes honest and less fortunate workers unemployed)
-The doctors who perform abortions and assisted suicide (They inherently piss of many bomb throwers, and I like to avoid as much drama as possible in my life)

Neighbors I'd object to, sort of in order:

1. People who are loud at night

2. Secret smokers who don't realize that the bathrooms have shared vents despite the fact that they so obviously do you idiot

3. People who risk my safety (by leaving the oven on, by storing high-grade explosives, or less significantly, by being some sort of political/cultural lightningrod)

4. People whose political beliefs entail talking to me about their political beliefs with no lead-in

5. Unitarians (I'm sorry but they just ain't right)

Is it bad that I've actually had almost half of these as neighbors?

Lets see, we've had :

Criminals
Drunks
Meth heads
A Pedophile
Mexicans -who slaughtered chickens in their back yard and washed their dishes outside.
Loud Neighbors
People who commit domestic violence.
People with many children

I generally don't mind having anyone as a neighbor, probably with the exception of right-wing extremists, and criminals. Assuming these two examples are violent. I'd don't need the right wing extremist causing problems if I have a minority over, and assuming it's a violent criminal, that's self explanatory.

I'm not worried about CEOs since I doubt I'd live in such an upscale place to have them as neighbors.

Probably not: (voted for these)
Drug addicts, regular drunk persons - Probably noisy, wouldn't keep their house looking at least decent, etc.
Criminals - Self explanatory
Third Trimester abortionists and suicide assisting doctors - Probably would have a lot of protestors outside their house regularly. Would rather not deal with the noise.
The President - Same as above plus having to deal with Secret Service too often.

Possibly not: (didn't vote, but considered it)
Left/Right Extremists - I suppose this depends on how extreme is extreme and how it affects their general behavior
Former nazi gaurds - Well, I doubt you'd know, and if they are indeed confirmed to be that they won't be there for long. Doubt they'd be interested in causing trouble. They'd be extradited to Israel or Germany.
Persons with mental problems - Too generic to say for sure. What kind of mental problems are we talking about here? Sociopathy, or something a bit more benign like OCD?
Guantanamo inmates - Some might not be guilty, so...

While you are quite correct, slaughtering them in your back yard screams "just off the boat".

It might be very delicious, however, it drew the buzzards in something fierce.  It was rather disconcerting to see a flock of turkey buzzards standing on your front steps after being shooed off by the stronger birds.  Especially when said bird was eyeing your 2 year old like she was the evening meal....

Only the loud and obnoxious.

For the record, I want to meet a gypsy, if only so I can say "come, Gypsy, give me your tears" just once.

My great-grandmother did that back in 1915, but she was just off the boat.

-Drug addicts
 Drunk people
 Right wing extremists
- Nazi guards (I don't like old people)

As to criminals, it depends on whether you mean violent felons or non-violent offenders.

The Gitmo detainees would depend on the individual case.

As to families with lots of children, I would be okay with it -- even though I crave quiet and solitude.  My daughter needs more playmates.  I would NOT, however, like to live next door to some full quiver kooks...but they would fit under right wing extremists.

The rest of the list wouldn't both me a bit.

Now how about a poll listing which forum members we'd like to have or wouldn't like to have as neighbors?
