I'd say "hard" PG-13.  Anything that goes above that usually gets deleted.

I treat it as a "hard R", but that's how I live my life.  Titties, F-bombs and explosions everywhere.

I don't really know what the difference between hard PG-13 and soft R is, but I'll vote soft R because apparently no one minds if we say fuck.

Hard PG-13.

Little too honkish to be considered anything above that.

A hard PG13 will drop one F-bomb and may show a bong in the background or have somebody referenced getting "baked".  A soft R may contain up to a dozen F-bombs and actually show somebody smoking a joint (but not a bong)...maybe some light, gratuitous (oxymoron?) boobage.

Soft R might be best described as "R by the MPAA's standards, but only because the MPAA is fucking retarded."

Not many movies are soft R anymore unless they're indie, major studios will either decide it's better to cut it to get a PG-13 or if it's getting an R anyway just go all out. Still most of the recent Oscar bait certainly qualified, like Milk and Slumdog Millionaire.

"Soft R".  You can say pretty much whatever you want, but no gratuitous imagery or acute personal attacks.  I think a looser grip on personal attacks would push it to "hard R" and the allowance of gratuitous imagery would make it "NC-17".

I think the mods should allow the posters to fight it out like another site I'm on (car site) . We are allowed to go at it until theres a winner.  Its some funny stuff when guys start talking about eachother wives and moms.

I understand the wanting to have political discourse and debate, but honestly nobody never wins because its sometimes personal.  The only way to solve those is with a good fight.

Some boards have different ratings than others. It really depends on the particular moderator.

This. Polling is G, while U.S. General Discussion is soft R.
