Between somewhat approve and strongly approved, but it's on an upward trajectory, I suppose.

Senate Democrats on the other hand...

Don't get me started.

They're a bunch of hokes, and Reid is quite possibly the worst leader we could be stuck with. But the Senate would fight a little harder if Obama bothered to stick his nose into a debate, forcefully, for once. Senate Democrats have no courage partially because they have no proper leader.

True, which was my earlier point. The WH needs a wing just to work with Congress on synching messages, pressuring members, etc.

There's actually a Constitutionally-defined office that does that. It's called the Vice Presidency. It'd be nice to see it used...

Somewhat disapprove. Maybe if he stops being a Moderate Hero, it'll go up.

Strongly approve of this president. He's a rationalist on foreign policy and a pragmatist on domestic policy. Doing what is right and not necessarily popular like GM

So, basically, doing almost nothing and being spineless & ineffective?

Between undecided and somewhat approve -my opinion of him will improve once he gets his health care and climate change bills passed without being totally impotent by the time they get to his desk... Tongue

As far as foreign policy is concerned, I'm fine with his approach and policies thus far -and not just with regard to Iran and North Korea.

Well ... the president appears, right now, to be finding himself stuck between a rock, in that he draws plenty of conservative, and Republican ire, and a hard place, in that he is drawing some liberal, and Democratic, angst

At this point, I don't think many libertarians are too happy, either.
I disagree, I somewhat approve, mainly because of his foreign policy. His domestic policy is... not so good, but it could bring us out of the recession, even if it leaves us straddled with debt.

You aren't most libertarians. You are one.

Strongly approve, based on foreign policy - which is what's relevant to me.

Strongly Disapprove.

The Stimulus was poorly written. The Auto companies should not have been give almost 87 Billion dollars before finally accepting the ineveitable. I would much rather we give the money to secure them through the bankruptcy then to have just kept avoiding the invetitable and cousting us 87 Billion dollars w/o any progress being made. His soaring budget busting deficit, his health care plan, and finally this screw the economy and the poor, please the Enviro-wacko special interest groups bill.

Somewhat disapprove.  I'm quite satisfied with his foreign policy thus far...not so much domestically.
