Yeah, I figured that too. It's foolish to think the governor of such a purple state is invincible during a recession, especially in Ohio.

Yeah, I figured that too. It's foolish to think the governor of such a purple state is invincible during a recession, especially in Ohio.

I have been saying that for months, even back in March when he was still in the mid 50's in Approval.

The debate isn't over whether or not Strickland is goner, instead it is over whether it will be competative(like I think it will be), or whether this is safe for Strickland, which as recently as a day or two ago seemed to be the going opinion among some posters here.

Yank's right.  And I am about as big a Strickland fan as there is.  I have family working for Lee Fisher, who previously worked for Strickland.  And they (Republicans) can't say enough good about the guy.  So of course I like him and want him to win.

But (someone please post a pic of a broken record or a dead horse here) I think Democrats are fools if they  presume re-election and, in this instance, underestimate someone with the political ability of John Kasich.
