This has happened like 5 times before; it's always a Republican doing something wrong.  I say it's on purpose.

It has happened far too many times and apparently never in reverse for it not to be being done for some reason and not accidentally.

Yes.  The first time, it was kind of adorable...just something a precocious child might do.  Now, it's gotten to the point where someone needs a spanking.

(I do hope someone has collected them all.  Along with the "looters" versus "finders", it would make quite a Fox News collage.)

Time to bring back the Fairness Doctrine.

Which would have no bearing on this particular problem at all.

But I do agree...and I suspect you and I are the only ones who do.

The fairness doctrine is unconstitutional. Simple as that. (Has many other problems as well)

You do realize that the fairness doctrine would hurt Dems.

Why does this surprise people?  This is how journalism is done in Europe.  The European (including Australia) "journalistic" market is where Murdoch emerges from.  Therefore....

Well, speaking as a professional journalist who worked under The Fairness Doctrine and who worked after its repeal, I can only say that the public was better served under it.

Faux news seems to think that any politician who is unspinably in deep sh**t must be a Democrat.

So you would break constitutional precedent just to better serve the "public"?

Plus, Fox wouldn't be able to look ridiculous as it does now. If anything Fox is helping destroy the Republicans more than any unfair speech laws could.

Fair shake of the sauce bottle, Australian journalism is sensationalistic sometimes, but you'd never see something as overtly ridiculous as this in any of the major papers, including the Daily Toiletrag and Herald Scum; and it wouldn't even be considered on any of the TV news networks.
