McCollum (R): 42%
Sink (D): 34%

Men in Florida favor McCollum by a 51% to 36% margin while women are almost evenly divided between the two. Voters not affiliated with either party lean towards McCollum by a 38% to 22% margin.

McCollum: 53% Favorable, 26% Unfavorable
Sink: 50% Favorable, 32% Unfavorable

Most voters (60%) approve of the way current Governor Charlie Christ is performing his job. Thirty-six percent (36%) disapprove of Crist, who plans on running on the Republican ticket for the state’s U.S. Senate race in 2010.

This state telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters in the state of Florida was conducted by Rasmussen Reports on June 22, 2009. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

Wait until the campaign gets going.  It's obviously going to narrow.

Doubtful. Sink is seen by the media as clueless.

Turns out that this will be a marginal race after all, and the Dems have done very well so far in marginal races, Sink will probably win.
