On Saturday I will be getting up early, catching the train to Glasgow and going 'doon the watter' on the paddle steamer Waverley the worlds only ocean going vessel of it's type.





I'm not sure how far we will go, but I hope we go as far as Rothesay Smiley



I hope to take pictures...and post when I get back Smiley

Sailed from Redondo Beach to Catalina Island in California yesterday. Just me and two others, fabulous time.

I remember going to Avalon in Catalina Island five years ago.  I had SO MUCH fun, especially when I rode on a jet ski.

Alas the Waverley was damaged in the wee small hours and couldn't sail Sad However I got the normal ferry to the Isle of Arran instead Grin Good times had by all!
