Results are statistically significant at ±3%. There are 441 Democrats and 281 Republicans. Results for these subsamples are statistically significant at ±5% and ±6%, respectively. Why are Democrats so angry at Paterson?  Is it because of Gillibrand?

No, because of Kennedy. Smiley

Basically, nobody knew him when he got to office and he didn't make a favorable first expression, appearing weak in that endless Senate nomination saga. Add his color and some buyers' remorse at forcing Spitzer out this quickly, and it gets hard to turn things around.

I think the budget was the biggest issue.
