NOTA

Video games are not just for children.  Adults often like "adult themes" in their entertainment.  If you can show these things in movies and read about them in books it would be incredibly stupid/wrong headed to ban them from video games.

Yeah.  This reminds me of how a lot of parents assume that cartoons are for children and then complain about the content in ones that are clearly geared for adults.

Any game with those things would receive an "AO" rating, which most retailers refuse to carry, including places like Gamestop. Additionally, a game with that rating cannot be sold to a minor.

So NOTA for me.

As long as the footage in the movie is of actors acting, sure, why not? And as for books, they should be able to print whatever they want. It's just text.

None. Some content might restrict a particular game to be sold to adults only, but as far as I'm concerned so long as nobody is actually harmed by the game there should be no limits on content.
