Isreal is no threat at all they are our best and only ally any more.

Probably north Korea.  But we should keep an eye on Venzueala too because Obama is very very very close with Chavez.  I read one article that reported obama was asking Chavez for policy advise.

I'd feel much better with Bush still in the White House.

I'd say a tie between Iran and Pakistan.

In Iran, Islamic-Fascists are solidifying their hold over the country's institutions. As well as posing n external threat to the US, Israel and other nations through regional meddling and support for terrorist organizations combined with a drive to obtain nuclear weapons. In Pakistan, you have an Islamist insurgency in the form of the Taliban as well as some other groups like Al-Qaeda creating regional and internal instability. However the Pakistani government and armed forces which are riddled with corruption and incompetency combined with subversive elements among their ranks. All of which poses the possibility of toppling the government and putting into jeopardy it's control over Pakistan's nuclear arsenal.

I understand what you mean and I agree with you. But in fact you can't really say that Israel is a threat.

North Korea, I think.  But solid cases have been made for the others.

Close between Pakistan (the one I chose) and N. Korea. I see us having more leverage with N. Korea though, as China seems to finally be willing to allow some sanctions.

Of course, long run our biggest threat is probably China. Between cyberspace attacks to space attacks to growing military might, they will be our biggest rival in the next quarter of a century or more.

Hmmm...tough question.  For me, it came down to Pakistan and North Korea.  I chose North Korea because NK more directly affects us and if it comes to war/breakdown of a country NK would be blamed more on us, even though in my opinion we're more responsible for Pakistan's current problems.

The only way Israel would be the answer is us getting embroiled in something they start, and I just don't see that happening.  If they get attacked I think we may retaliate but we're not going to jump on if they start another war.

The biggest threat to the United States of America is the United States of America. It's that bloody simple. The "Muricah first" crowd will be the end of us.

Israel has influence in America, and none of the other countries do. They can talk all they want, but nobody will ever frontally attack America.

That made me laugh.  Tragic though.

I also like how they paid us money in reparations, meaning that we were paying ourselves as we give them millions

It's Saudi Arabia that's actually most responsible for terrorism. Israel also exercises undue influence on American foreign policy, greatly contributes to anti-American feelings in the Middle East and is therefore indirectly a rather significant threat.
Russia is not a threat to the US. If, however, it's an American interest that all formerly Communist countries are American satelite states, the Russia is certainly a threat to US interests.
