If you can assure us that events similar to those of a few months ago will not, barring some unforeseen circumstances, occur during your next term, I am more than happy to vote for your confirmation.

I would like to ask, as an aside, if you could provide some recommendations to the Senate as to how to clarify and expand election law in order to help you do your job.

I would think every President should automatically dismiss the entire previous Cabinet. He can reappoint whomever he likes, but we should start from scratch.
