Oregon, but mainly for the weather.  Vermont would be awesome politically and historically.

Vermont, though both are pretty desirable for me.

Meant to vote for Oregon but voted Vermont by accident.

Oregon at least has Portland, which has a mass transit system, and seems to be the quieter less expensive version of Seattle.

Vermont, because there's only 600,000 or so people I have to deal with. Plus, I've met some people from Vermont and they seem pretty friendly.

Both are top-tier states. I'd be fine in either. I'll vote Oregon though.

I like both, but Oregon for a better mix of urban and outdoor opportunities.

I don't know what that means but I know it isn't urban enough.

Gotta go with my home state here. Vermont is too cold and rural.

Somehow, I don't think you'd enjoy living in the Republican areas of Oregon...

Oh, no, I wouldn't. My reason for mentioning them is that they give me a chance of being represented by some normals on the statewide level.  Smiley

In theory, yes, but Vermont actually has more Republican elected officials than Oregon! Gordon Smith was the only Republican in any statewide position for a decade, and of course he's gone now.

There's a lot of straight-ticket voting here, I guess.

I picked Oregon because of Eugene and Portland.

I'd prefer anywhere in Vermont to the Idaho parts of Oregon, but I'd prefer the urabn palces of Oregon more. So yeah, it depends where.

Vermont. If I feel like going to the city, I'll go to the city, which isn't all that far from Vermont.

Yeah but living in or near a real urban area is more important to me.

I'd rather vacation in Vermont, and live in Oregon.  Portland is barely big enough for me, but Vermont doesn't have any reasonably sized city at all.  Vermont does seem like a beautiful, interesting place, but I couldn't manage that.  And the weather would be a big of a stretch.
