Democratic Lt Governor Jari Askins will receive my vote both in the July 2010 primary and, should she win that, the General Election as well.

I'll endorse Jari Askins as well, Mr. Made in the USA guy, and would vote for her if I lived in your state but wish her the best of luck. It certainly would be the battle of the titans between Askins and Rep. Mary Fallin (R, OK-05), the former Lieutenant Governor, and I believe it would be historic as well, nominating the first female Governor of Oklahoma? I believe I read that somewhere. Not sure if that's true. Either way, give my best to Ms. Askins! Smiley She has my *hypothetical* vote.

I went to her campaign site and, wow, this sounds like Brad Henry Act II. Unless by the grace of god the Libertarian Party makes the ballot, I'll definitely vote for this woman.

Who's the primary opponent?
Brad Henry II is probably the best to realistically hope for in Oklahoma. And not bad at all.

Attorney General Drew Edmondson.  I think Askins has the edge, though.
