Blue Virginia reports that Virgil Goode has raised a whopping $154 in the second quarter. Not thousands. $691 less than Roland Burris's first quarter haul.

I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, it means we don't have to hear from Goode again. On the other hand, it opens up the door to a stronger Republican challenger to Perriello, like Del. Rob Bell, who's from the Charlottesville area and could eat into Perriello's base.

I don't think Goode will run again.  Aside from the fundraising numbers, I think he's being going to be pressured by the Establishment not to run again; and to let someone else take a shot.
