Putting aside your invocation of the "T" word, that would be part of the fitting into the local pattern, no? What is interesting about LA, at least LA city itself, is that I suspect upper middle class Jews and WASPS vote in very similar patterns these days - which is very different from when I was knee high from a grasshopper.
Middle class Jews vote conservative nowadays in LA? Things must have changed dramatically in the short time that I haven't lived there.
