A showdown between the two most recent forum vacation destinations.

This may be one of the most lopsided poll results ever, by the way.

I'd rather go to Flint Michigan than Dudefest.

Obviously Italy which is thankfully winning unanimously.  But remember Phil, we have some Italy haters.  For instance, I very much rather go to Dudefest than France

Although I believe the destination I am leaving tomorrow is pretty solid too Wink

Italy, obviously. I'd love to visit northern Italy, South Tyrol, F-V-G, Aosta but also Rome (obviously), Tuscany, Marche, and Sardinia. I'm sure there are other nice spots in southern Italy. Despite it's faults, Italy is miles better than a maritxu besta.

Oh, I know but I think plenty of them would hate Dudefest even more.  Wink

Same. Unfortunately, I've been to the latter. I love how the people I was with (who aren't even France haters, for the record) agreed that the people were rude in the airport and on the Air France flight to Rome. Ironically, no one was rude to me in the airport or on the flight.

Where would that be?

I like one on one polls and I don't remember any prominent member going to Barcelona recently.  Tongue

but phil, we dont all have the finances to go to italy every year.

Neither do I. I don't go every year. I didn't pay for my trip in 2000 or 2008 (that was paid for by my family). I did pay for my trip in 2006 and this one. As you can see, I hardly go every year (though I will be there for a month next year if everything works out and I hope to have a career that makes pays well enough to allow me to go back every year). I really wasn't even supposed to get this year but I was that bored with life here.

I note the sarcasm.  Wink

Italy. Hell I'd think BRTD would like going to Italy because there is a pretty decent skramz scene there.

Eh. There are enough Italians and dudes where I live. There are even combinations of the two as well. So neither, really.

No, he wouldn't. He doesn't like Italy overall, if I recall correctly (too Catholic, conservative, etc.).

Italians in Canada (or where ever you are) isn't the same as going to Italy.

I'm sure you're excited but it does seem a rather unseemly the way you keep bragging about your European vacation.

Yeah, I'm excited. Sue me.  Tongue  Must I bump your vacation thread from a few weeks ago?

However, this thread isn't really about me bragging. That's the other thread.  Wink  This is actually a BRTD-esque thread.

The culture exists in Canada. Grin

The mafia runs the city of Montreal. I would know since my godfather's father is in the mafia (yes, my godfather is Italian, though that doesn't mean anything).
