I will be in Paris from March 23-31. I've been there a few times before, but not in the last 10 years. I'm interested in ideas of lesser known places I might check out while there.

Ask Antonio, he lives there.

I've been to Paris in 2005 while Interrailing with a girlfriend of mine, but we only visited the important sights and a few shops and so on.

The last time I went there I was surprised to see a lot of hostels springing up in the Place de la Bastille area (though we finally selected one in northern Montmartre), which typically indicates an area getting "hip". You probably have already been to the Marais / Place de Vosges area, but it might be interesting to this time check out east from there as well.
