Cuomo wins with about 54%. Against Guiliani, Paterson just falls short of the 40% mark.

Cuomo would swallow Mr. "I can say only 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11..".

Paterson, on the other hand, would have problems just because he is Governor Paterson, but still, in political climate, he stilll would prevail, but not so impressive.

New Yorkers could vote for 1990s Giuliani, but I don't think they will vote for Giuliani, former "frontrunner" for the 2008 GOP nod

While it's hard to predict anything that far out, taking into consideration the loss of Obamamentum and the continued worsening of the economy, I would put Giuliani as the winner with 53% despite the conventional wisdom at this point in time.
