Okay,  it has previously been said, that ideally the host city would have( in no particular order):

a hub for major transportation
sightseeing/entertainment readily available
hotel space/meeting room availability
reasonable rates on transportation and hotel rooms


Might I respectfully submit Orlando?   It is a major transportation hub, 90% of the hotels have shuttle service from the airport to the hotels. It has public transportation.  It has various venues for entertainment of all aspects, and most have the capability of being reserved at group rates.  Almost all of the hotel( of the nicer variety) do have the meeting conference room capability.  Most airlines at some point offer get away prices to Orlando for the weekend, especially if booked in the winter( as it is considered at that point, a tropical vacation).  The winter months up until April, are reasonable slow and considered off season, so rates on hotels are a little cheaper.  If you want late March/early April, baseball fans can catch Grapefruit league games all around the area.  We could also feasibly make a day trip to Tallahassee.......
