It's possible, it depends on who is nominated by each party. If the Democrats nominate Barack Obama, the Republicans nominate a pro-choice moderate type, and an Independent runs a very Conservative campaign. There would have to be a third party involved.

There is no condition in existance where I would vote for Zell Miller. I'd even vote for someone like Rick Santorum over him, since at least ultra-right wing Republicans have enough brain cells to realize what party they belong in.

But since Democrats realize such a person could never win the nomination, unlike deluded Republicans who honestly think the Religious Right would let Guiliani be nominated. All good positions, none of which is furthered by voting Republican.

Yes it is possible.  I mean take the South for instance, I'm sure the people right after the Civil War down there, and for years and years after vowed to never vote Republican.  Now look at them, it most certainly is possible because Party ideals change, and with them trends.  If, by some shot the Democrats turn conservative and fit my views, sure I'll vote for 'em.  I am actually planning on voting from one Democrat here.  Anyway, that's my take.
