I'm assuming that you meant government-backed monopolies, which is the only true monopoly, so no.

No, unless of course it is a State monopoly.

This. We need, for instance, to totally dismantle Boeing and Lockheed's incestuous relationship with the U.S. military. We also need to break the tariff that allows corn oligarchs to sell unhealthy high fructose corn syrup at the expense of real sugar.

Lean Yes.

There are a few infrastructure-heavy industries where the costs of duplicating the infrastructure are high enough that it makes economic sense to have regulated monopolies provide the service.  Basically the utilities such as landline phone service from your house to the local exchange, connection to the electrical grid, water & sewer, gas.

To a lesser extent, mail delivery and garbage collection also make sense as regulated monopolies so as to avoid having to have multiple service providers roaming the streets, but there competition is also about the level of service.

This is where I want to go...but this is too radical and risky. I would stick to the current jurisprudence that allows monopolies in industries that probably don't have that much time left to them. There was a major anti-knock case about this.
