Is Getting Hammered Superior To Being High From Marijuana?

Hammered? I can't say being hammered is very fun. Typically all I remember is the pain that starts around 6 AM and lasts all day. I'd much rather be high. Hammered implies blackout, vomiting, undue belligerence, etc. Not really a fan.

Now if the question was just being drunk, that's a clear winner.

I just don't see the point of getting drunk, it doesn't sound attractive at all. All the people I talk to who say they've gotten drunk are all like "yeah it's so awesome! I get wasted! Getting wasted is soooo cool!" Maybe I just don't like doing things in excess or something, because I don't see what is so awesome about getting stone cold drunk, running around naked with a friggin Viking helmet and crashing through walls and not remembering it or some crap like that. Getting hammered is something reserved for the dumbass frat masses, not for gifted elitist intelligista douchebags like myself.
Honestly I've never taken Mary Jane, but I've hung around people while they were on it. They act alot more sane than the dumbasses who chug down JD just so they can get "f***ed up".

Getting that drunk is no fun at all. You may have fun in that moment of time but its not like you are going to remember it. On the other hand you can't really be too high...I don't think. You may just fall asleep or something. Regardless you won't be making a fool of yourself like the drunk bastards.

Obviously blackouts aren't fun, but that's for people who don't know how to drink.  I believe I used the word "trashed" not hammered, but to me its all just fun drunk

-sobriety
-a buzz from alcohol
-a buzz from cannabis
-reasonably high
-reasonably drunk
...
-very high
-very drunk

Generally I try to stay as close to the top of this list as possible, though in certain occasions it becomes appropriate/acceptable/fun to move a certain distance down the list in terms of my desired state of mind. The dots represent a line I try never to cross though it unfortunately happens on rare occasions. Oh, and I don't really mix the two because it usually feels awful.
