Question:

Poll Demographics

Twenty-one percent (21%) of Kentucky voters have Very Favorable opinion of Governor Fletcher while 32% have a Very Unfavorable opinion. Those figures are up from 15% and 23% respectively when the campaign began.

For Beshear, 30% have a Very Favorable opinion while 13% express a Very Unfavorable opinion. In May, Beshear’s numbers were 17% Very Favorable and 8% Very Unfavorable.

Thirty-four percent (34%) of voters say that Fletcher is doing a good or excellent job as Governor and an equal number say he is doing a poor job. Thirty-two percent (32%) offer a more neutral assessment and say the current Governor is doing a fair job.

About this Poll

This telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports on November 1, 2007. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
