* = Incumbent Strickland leads Kasich in Ohio By: tmthforu94 (D-MO) on 2009-11-16 @ 11:52:39 To avoid biasing the sample in favor of adults who can be reached through more than one telephone number, each case is weighted inversely to its probability of being included in the sample. In addition, the data are weighted to correct for sampling biases due to size of household (i.e., number of adults living in the household). The data have also been weighted to correct for potential sampling biases on the following respondent characteristics: sex, education, age, race and region of residence, using data published by the U.S. Census. Finally, we do not use self-identified partisanship in our weighting methodology. Note that the October Poll found more respondents identifying themselves as Republicans than in September. The overall partisan composition of this Poll was 44 percent Democrats, 43 percent Republicans, and 13 percent Independents. Among registered voters, the composition for this Poll was 48 percent Republicans, 43 percent Democrats and nine percent Independents. Login to Post Comments Forum Thread for this Poll |
