About this Poll

This survey includes cell phone respondents and landline respondents. SurveyUSA interviewed 900 Kentucky adults 10/28/11 through 11/01/11. Of the adults, 785 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 576 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 11/08/11 Gubernatorial election. This survey was conducted multimode. Landline respondents (who are 75% of adults, 79% of likely voters), were interviewed in the recorded voice of a professional announcer. Cell phone respondents (who are 25% of adults, 21% of likely voters), were interviewed by call center employees, who hand-dialed the phone numbers, asked the questions, and who remained on the line until the interview was completed. In this data set, cell-phone respondents and landline respondents vote similarly.
