1* In thinking about the 2012 election for governor of North Carolina, suppose you had a choice between Republican Pat McCrory and Democrat Walter Dalton. If the election were held today, would you vote for Republican Pat McCrory or Democrat Walter Dalton?

A new telephone survey of Likely Voters in North Carolina finds McCrory earning 45% support to Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton’s 36%. Five percent (5%) like another candidate, and 14% are undecided.
