About this Poll
This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone October 11-15, 2012, among a random sample of 1,106 adult residents of Maryland. Interviews were conducted on both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. The error margin is four points for the sample of 934 registered voters and for the sample of 843 likely voters. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Abt SRBI, Inc of New York, NY.
