Obama continues to hold double digit advantage By: Lief (D-NY) Question: If the election were held today and the candidates were Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, for whom would you vote? About this Poll Conducted Oct. 4-8 by a bipartisan team of pollsters who interviewed 604 likely voters, the poll found that Obama has a 51-to-40-percent lead over Romney, compared with a 51-to-37 margin after the parties' conventions, when the paper's previous poll was conducted.
