Question:
The survey had other bits of good news for Democrats. Sen. Carl Levin continues to lead big for a sixth term; voters supported him by 54 percent to 36 percent over Republican state Rep. Jack Hoogendyk.

About this Poll
Obama leads Republican nominee John McCain, 50 percent to 38 percent, in the final pre-election Detroit News-WXYZ Action News poll of Michigan voters. That's just a slight change from last week, when Obama held a 14 percentage-point lead. The survey, of 600 likely voters, was conducted Sunday through Tuesday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
