Filtering: 900 Virginia adults were interviewed by SurveyUSA 09/14/07 through 09/16/07. Of them, 783 were registered to vote in Virginia and were included in this survey. This is not a survey of likely voters. SurveyUSA will begin screening for likely voters once the Republican party and Democratic party nominees are known. Party composition of these registered voters is: 38% Democrat, 30% Republican, 27% Independent. Credit media sponsors WJLA-TV Washington DC, WTVR-TV Richmond, WAVY-TV Norfolk, and WDBJ-TV Roanoke when citing these results.
