About this Poll
The poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points, has Stabenow ahead 49-38%. Some 46% of the people surveyed have a favorable opinion of her while 40% view her unfavorably. Hoekstra gets favorable marks from 28% and unfavorable ratings from 32%.

The poll of 600 likely voters in the Nov. 6 election was done by EPIC-MRA of Lansing. It was conducted Saturday through Tuesday.
