About this Poll This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone October 22 to 26, 2012, among a random sample of 1,504 adults in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Interviews were conducted on conventional and cellular telephones, and carried out in English and Spanish by Abt-SRBI of New York. The results from the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points; it is three points for the samples of 1,309 registered voters and 3.5 points for the sample of 1,228 likely voters.
