The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers with a random sample of Colorado likely voters.
Landline and cell phone numbers were randomly selected from a statewide voter file of registered Colorado voters using a probability proportionate to size method. This simply means that phone numbers are proportionally representative to the number of voters in all regions across
the state.

Voters who were registered prior to 2013 yet had not voted in at least one of the last four statewide general elections were excluded from the sample. Respondents who indicated they were unlikely to vote in November were also excluded.

The poll also includes additional interviews (an oversample) of 38 randomly selected Hispanic voters to allow for analysis of the subgroup. The additional interviews were weighted so
Hispanics are not over-represented in the overall statewide results. Bi-lingual interviewers were utilized to make callbacks when language barriers were encountered.

Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of ±3.5 percentage points.
