Election Notes:
  • In Maryland, the direct election of the eight presidential electors combined with the closeness of the race resulted in a split between the Republican and Democratic electors: seven for Parker and one for Roosevelt. The elector whom received the most votes was the single elector for Roosevelt.
  • Electoral Vote Map Note: there is no implied geographical significance as to the location of the shaded areas for Maryland's split electoral votes.
