Welcome to Politica, a blog dedicated to French election results and French politics. Some other countries might also be discussed, once in a while. Depends on if it interests me/is interesting.

Biases: I’m a centrist liberal-conservative that dislikes both ultra-conservatives (MPF etc.) and communists (PCF etc.). I don’t enjoy whinocrats (LPC, PS) or egomaniac politicians (Montebourg, Bayrou etc.). I’m from Ille-et-Vilaine, in Bretagne, so a few posts might be focused on that.

What will be discussed: election results, election maps, demographics and elections, election commentary, electoral reform, results analysis, upcoming elections.

What won’t be discussed: Day-to-day political happenings (save for end of year awards), tabloid politics, individual politicians.
