The Machiavellian
December 18th, 2007 by XaharYes, that is what George Bush is. A Machiavellian, through and through. How else do you describe wire-tapping? He basically caused the September 11 attacks through his fervent anti-Middle East policies, and the attacks caused him to gain huge support. He essentially leaves the United States open for another attack, knowing that if one took place, the publicity would give certain victory to the Republicans in 2008, both in Congress and the White House. It’s twisted reasoning, but it works. For some strange reason, people are more likely to keep a government that caused a terrorist attack to work. While this is just my hunch, and is based on no research, how else can the Republican victories in the early part of this decade be explained when the country was going through a depression?
Note: This version of the MACH-IV test puts me as a high Mach, with a score of 75, so I might be a little hypocritical.
