Yes, that is what George Bush is. A Machiavellian, through and through. How else do you describe wire-tapping? He basically caused the September 11 attacks through his fervent anti-Middle East policies, and the attacks caused him to gain huge support. He essentially leaves the United States open for another attack, knowing that if one took place, the publicity would give certain victory to the Republicans in 2008, both in Congress and the White House. It’s twisted reasoning, but it works. For some strange reason, people are more likely to keep a government that caused a terrorist attack to work. While this is just my hunch, and is based on no research, how else can the Republican victories in the early part of this decade be explained when the country was going through a depression?

Note: This version of the MACH-IV test puts me as a high Mach, with a score of 75, so I might be a little hypocritical.

Seriously—she’s a total DINO. I can’t believe the people of San Francisco actually elected her. I also can’t believe that I didn’t realize this earlier. Take a look at this vote, to inovke cloture on this bill. A quick look at the summary shows it allows “the Attorney General (AG) and Director of National Intelligence to jointly authorize, for periods up to one year, the targeting (electronic surveillance) of persons located outside the United States to acquire foreign intelligence information.” Seriously. Electronic surveillance. Feinstein, of course, voted aye, but Freedom Fighter Barbara Boxer voted nay. We don’t get to register our approval for Boxer until 2010. We did for Feinstein in 2006. She just generally makes me mad. >:(

Incidentally, does anyone else think it odd that we are represented in the Senate by two Jewish women?
