Ted Bundy was a notorious serial killer, as well as a Republican.

In addition to being responsible for the murders of dozens of women, Ted Bundy was active in the Washington State Republican Party. In 1968, he worked for the Republican candidate for the Office of Lt. Governor. In the 1970's, he volunteered for the re-election effort of Washington Governor Dan Evans. In 1973, he began working in Olympia for the Republican Central Committee. Shortly after working for the Republican Party, Bundy began his interstate killing spree. He became a born again Christian shortly before his death.
