No.
Atlantis is, etymologically, the island of Atlas, the guy who held the world on his head. (The Atlas, as in a book, or now website, with maps, and the mountains in Morocco are both named for him). And the Atlantic Ocean is the Ocean that Atlantis was once located in. Atlantic is the correct adjective of Atlas.
