Governor Markell caved to Obama Justice Dept. threats were made in response to Delaware becoming state #16 to allow medicinal marijuana. Sad

Unfortunately, I doubt the Colorado initiative will win. It lost by 20 points in 2006.  Washington and California have the best chance of legalizing it.

Well if Gallup is accurate at all the pro-legalization side has grown substantially since 2006. Not sure if it will win or not, but it will defiantly be close.

Sweet. How well do you think the two initiatives will do in the general election?

I am not sure if Gov. Malloy has signed the CT bill yet into law, but assuming he does/has we can put CT up on the big board.

30% - Decriminalized
40% - Medicinal Cannabis allowed
70% - All of the Above

To be honest I've never actually tried it.

I'm happy to see there are others that are just plainly interested in seeing good policy and that's that.

I started to care more about the issue after joining the local NORML chapter

It seems absolutely ridiculous that a relatively harmless plant that, along with alcohol, suppressed anxiety and helped allow society to happen is so terribly villified by the masses. The masses who, at the same time, are sucking down prozac like there's no tomorrow.

Anyway. Greetings from California.

Preach it brother Moderate! Smiley

PPP:
46% Obama, 44% Romeny, 5% Gary Johnson
Amendment 64: 47% support, 38% oppose, 15% undecided

Marijuana legalization is doing better than Obama or Romney in CO. Awwwww yeah.
