Ron Paul.

GOP I might vote for: Tancredo, Tommy Thompson

Dem (I'm incredibly close to voting Dem just to spite the GOP choices if they choose Rudy McRomney): Gravel, Obama

Just wondering, do you have Tommy Thompson on there because of his brother?

Brother?

His brother, Ed Thompson, is thinking about running for the Libertarian Party nomination.

Sent a check for $100 to Representative Paul yesterday.

Hahaha, you just wasted $100! Tongue

The thing about Bloomberg though is that he seems to be a fan of a nanny-state.
And 90% of the other candidates aren't?

They haven't been as active about it as he has (besides Hillary and possibly Romney).

Right, because we all know that giving Secretary Thompson $100 is a worthwhile investment.

Kucinich, Gravel, Obama are my preferred choices (in that order).

Agreed entirely.  I voted for Kucinich.

After 70 votes cast:

47% would vote for a Democrat
37% would vote for a Republican
9% would vote for another candidate
7% would vote for none of the above

Looks like a generic congressional poll from Rasmussen ...

I'll probably be voting in the GOP primary this time for Giuliani.  If that race is decided and the Democratic race is not, I'll be voting for Clinton in the Democratic primary.

I don't expect either vote to matter much: Massachusetts won't cast its ballot until March.

As of now, nobody. Problem for me is that none of the Democratic candidate really appeal to me. Obama, Edwards, Biden, and Richardson are alright, but I haven't been able to throw 100% of my support to either one.

Everyone who has not voted so far, should please do so. Smiley

(I wanna see the 100 votes cracked ...)

Currently the Republicans are running 5 votes behind the Democrats ...

Undecided. So far, I'm attempting to juggle between Giuliani, Romney, Thompson (either Fred or Tommy), Paul, and NOTA/Libertarian Party candidate. All of them have their problems (Romney is suspicious since he's from Massachusetts, Giuliani is a little totalitarian for my taste, Fred Thompson doesn't make an impression, I don't have a clue on Tommy Thompson, Paul's foreign policy is just daffy, and the LP is unlikely to stand much of a chance).

All I know is that I'm not supporting McCain (too much like Bush... surprisingly), Tancredo (good ideas at times, but overall a kook), Clinton (ugh, never liked her), Obama, or Edwards (they support using taxpayer dollars to perform abortions on demand - that's wrong on SO many levels. Plus Edwards just strikes me as wrong, and the recent Clinton-Obama exchange shows that, much as I dislike her, Clinton at least has a slightly better idea of what foreign policy's about).

Ron Paul, largely due to his opposition to free trade, violation of fundamental civil liberties, internationalist intervention, opposition to amnesty for illegal aliens, and respect for States Rights.

www.welt.de , the German site with the best US election coverage so far (in my opinion) has a poll too where you can vote on your choice for president. 1.320 votes were cast so far. And the results are not really astonishing for the German speaking area (80% would have voted for John Kerry in 2004 according to scientific polls ...) Tongue

Clinton: 46%
Obama: 31%
Giuliani: 7%
Edwards: 3%
McCain: 3%
Paul: 3%
Romney: 2%
Kucinich: 1%
Richardson: 1%
Tancredo: 1%
F. Thompson: 1%

http://www.welt.de/dossiers/us-wahlkampf

So, again more than 80% would vote for a Democrat in 2008 ... Wink
