I'm not sure Clark is experienced enough to head up a ticket. He'd also be known as the Democrat who failed miserably in 2004.

I'd like to see Bayh/Warner, or really Bayh/Anyone.

Don't you all worry that Clark's lack of experience in government combined with his mediocre showing in 2004 could result in a great GOP punching bag?

Don't bet on it, Alcon.  Clark is fierce when facing Republicans.  I seriously doubt that he would stand to their slander.

Well, calling Clark inexperienced is hardly slander. He's never been an elected official before, and he did not do very well in 2004. He also tends to say some rather stupid things on topics he is not informed on, which, because of his lack of experience, is a lot.

I like the guy, but I'm afraid that he could be a timebomb.

I forget the exact quote, but sometime during the 2004 primary Clark was asked, "How will you respond if someone questions your military experience and patriotism?"... Clark responded, "Ill beat the sh**t out of em'."  I love no bullsh**t politicians.

Yes, that quote entertained me a lot, too, but I'm not sure Mary Goodsuburban, her husband Joe Bluecollar, and their four children in Iowa would like that sort of thing.
