Actually, I wouldn't consider jfern's actual views all that extreme - he's just extreme anti-Bush, anti-Republican in general, and anti-people who disagree with him. Basically I think he's around average for a Democrat but is very vocal and not easy to have a debate with.

Though he's a definitly more socially liberal (economic too, but not as much) than the average Democrat.

Maybe you're right - it's kind of hard to get jfern's actual views when they are blocked by yelling and general unfriendliness. Tongue
